“Jerusalem birds” Ketubah

The story behind the “Jerusalem birds” Ketubah design🕊 this ketubah was originally inspired by Ravital & Nethanel, an amazing couple, living in Israel and breathing Judaism with all of their being. (In this picture above I’ve replaced the original text) When I was doing my visual research for this art piece I’ve had in mind the unique connection that this couple has to the land of Israel. So I thought, what would be better and more suitable than a blue and white colour palette?! This design draws inspiration from ancient ketubhas.. incorporating the symbol of fish for fertility and good luck and a symmetrical balance with in the artwork. I’ve also wanted to incorporate the Jerusalem landscape and the white dove with an olive branch, representing hope, love and peace. This design has a classic atmosphere with a whimsical twist.
